Horst A. Friedrichs.

is a renowned photographer that has offered his inspirational take-on very appealing projects, from British manufacturing brands, the Mod, rocker tribes, urban cyclists, to the coolest vintage car scenes. He has captured their spirit as well as their clothing, accessories, scene and most of all attitudes. Through stunning, rich and vibrant photographs he has drawn London’s different subcultures, which eventually have turned into great books.

Montenegro & Lafont sensed a special bond with one book in particular, Cycle Style. A stylish portfolio of men and women standing proudly by their steel framed bikes through the streets of London. After a one-time encounter he encouraged Horst to take part of this adventure, getting to know each other through out their work. But this time, the final result would be a short film. Horst agreed and that is where it all began.
